The Cannons Surgery, along with many other GP surgeries across Scotland, was having difficulty in recruiting permanent GPs to join their existing teams.   The Cannons handed over the running of their services to NHS Fife in November 2015.   Despite this, patients should be assured that the Practice has locum cover and will continue to operate normally on a day to day basis.

Dr Duncan will commence her new role within the Practice in December and she will be working four full days per week on a permanent basis.

We would like to thank all our patients for their continued support and understanding through this period of change.

Welcome to the Cannons Practice

The Cannons is committed to providing quality care to its practice population and will use its skills to empower, educate and inform patients about how best to look after themselves.

We will use our surgery website as a way of presenting all our patients with up to date information relating to our practice.   We will keep it current with any views, developments & details that are relevant to the practice and our patients.   We hope you will use the website as a useful resource taking advantage of the links to other reliable websites for health related information.   We are always looking to improve our services so please leave some feedback on our contact page.

This website is both for existing patients and those considering registering with us.   It tells you about our services, how to access them and some general information about how our practice operates.

We are a three partner practice (not limited)

We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm for telephone calls but please note that we are closed to personal callers from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
